ARTIST STATEMENT: The concept which drives my creative process may be summarized by the phrase: form follows feeling. My desire is to leave a meaningful imprint of my interactions with my environment, the experience of looking in and looking out through a mingling of opposites. My style is somewhat calligraphic. My intention is to express myself graphically as a form of handwriting, what Kirchner referred to as hieroglyphsÂ, or symbolic graphic marks and gestures which reveal subjective truth.
