ARTIST STATEMENT: As many artists have said before me, please look at the work, it will speak for itselfÂ. But requested to make a statement I will use words. My paintings and sculptures are first and foremost visual presentations. How they come into being involves many many decisions. I hope the majority of those decisions have been under my control, and the ones that are not is what I try to discern and overcome. It's a huge challenge. That challenge is what makes painting new every day.
