ARTIST STATEMENT: In my series titled “Still Lifeâ€Â I worked to create a tranquil and meditative world populated with objects that have a personal and allegorical significance for me, but remain open-ended to the viewer. I received my BFA from SMFA with a concentration in painting, and photography. I have been cultivating my personal layered and intricate style of ink wash painting since the early days of my art studies. I've had several solo shows and participated in group exhibitions nationally.
