ARTIST STATEMENT: This painting series is inspired by images floating in my mind of the impressions I retain of cityscapes, landscapes and people I met on my foreign travels before the pandemic. During the subsequent isolation, these images danced to the forefront and emerged in unexpected ways in my paintings.
