ARTIST STATEMENT: ​​Most of my photographs are of found objects that I make my art with. It may be searching for birds to photograph or finding a rusty dumpster to make abstractions from. I enjoy the search, especially when I find a bird I have never seen before and actually get a good photo of it. I enjoy taking photos of things people can’t identify right away. Could be a rusty dumpster or ice in mud puddles or water reflections. If you can’t identify the image it lets you imagine something that other people may.
