STATEMENT: "Jim Dow is a really nice guy. I suspect it is his kindness, in part, that enables him to get access to uncommon spaces, and that his open demeanor contributes to his tendency to notice nooks and crannies, the unsung areas that we might otherwise pass without a second thought. His appreciation for the sights of everyday life, and the large-format camera he uses to capture its detail, encourage us to be more attentive to the world around us.
