ARTIST STATEMENT: I take black and white photographs of existing photographs and in which I leave marks of her interventions. These marks turn the images into digital relics. With my photographs I seek to recompose and emphasize wounds caused by loss, migration and fragmentation that may otherwise go unperceived.
