Rhythm of the Sea Series #8
21h x 17w x 1d
DESCRIPTION: Drawings & Watercolors, Framed, Watercolor, charcoal, ink, and paper
ARTIST STATEMENT: A painter must learn first from the ancient masters, then from nature, and finally from his own mind, Tung Ch'i-ch'ang. Einstein's four principles, energy, matter, space, and time, relevant to science, are also the foundation of visual communication. My artwork is about beauty/meaning, tension/relationship ,and resolution. This series is based on my interactive installation project, like Sea Glass: A Hand Full of Light. Each glass shape made one by one echoes the rhythm and sounds of the sea.
