ARTIST STATEMENT: As a visual artist I am exploring themes of nostalgia, beauty, belonging and vulnerability, home, and interconnected storytelling through analog and digital photography. I work primarily in still images in 35mm, 120mm film, and also moving images in analog 16mm video. I aspire to utilize art as a means of communication to deepen subject-object relationships and ontologies and explore projections of the self.
