ARTIST STATEMENT: This block print I've created is based off of themes of the balance between life and death featured in "The Death of a Moth", an essay written by Virginia Woolf. I wanted this piece to convey the uplifting, reassuring idea that even when something as tragic as death occurs, new life will continue to grow and proliferate.
