ARTIST STATEMENT: I am exploring desire and connection through my own sexual, and emotional lens. My work speaks with candor and humor about body issues / body positivity, and is suffused with a sense of grief, solitude, pain and loneliness. This photograph was taken in Berlin in 2019. I was renting an apartment for several months to live in and use as a studio. The bedroom had a bit of a fantasy air to it, furnished mostly in blue, it became a kind of stage for me to work in.
