DESCRIPTION: Paintings, Unframed, Ink and Acrylic on Mylar
ARTIST STATEMENT: For years I have been making art about the habit of taking out coffee. I painted portraits of individual cups and their logos, rendered them overlaid as if over time, and also removed the "ground" from the "figures" and created shaped PVC paintings that hang a bit away from the wall. And always an observer of street scenes, I'm intrigued by fire hydrants with their solid comforting and humorous stances.
